Sebastian, the original Flappy Pappy, had a rough start to life that improved immediately once the good people at Atlanta Humane's Dog Rescue found him. From there, we took home a 7 month old Pappy that needed a lot of care. To strengthen his injured paw, and heal his heart, we had to prove to him that we would love him forever.

The love Sebastian shows is unlike anything we'd seen. Once he knew us as his family, his devotion and dedication took over. He always has one eye open to protect, and one big smile to show. He opened our eyes to Dog Rescue and giving a home to as many Pappies as we can!

Caring for animals comes with lots of responsibilities. One of the most important is making sure that they know they are in the right place. Sebastian gets kissed good night and woken up the same way, every day. He's our Flappy Pappy. And that is our promise to him, that he will never have to go without Love, again.

Our Story brought us Luna simply by word of mouth. We found a farm girl in need of a home and we scooped her up immediately. Little did we realize that she was an Alpha and needed to understand her place in our family. With enough love, and maybe a bit of yelling, she made her own place in our home and our hearts.

Luna fell in love with Sebastian right away. She snuggled close and they became inseparable. They stay close together and always check on one another. Luna sees him as her equal despite her incredible physical abilities. She never over powers him but will happily play as rough as he likes. They adore each other!

From her deep voice to her rippling muscled physique, Luna is a force to be reckoned with. Yet she is obedient and dedicated to her family in her own unique way. She continues to grow and develop and we can't wait to see just how big she gets.

Mistle Toe found us right after Thanksgiving '22. Our vet informed us of a tiny puppy that was in a dog rescue shelter's overflow, and it was cold out! We scooped her right up and found her name was perfect. Mistle or Missile, she flew at our hearts and we did not evade.

When she came home, we weren't sure what she was. The size of her paws and learning about GERD convinced us we had an English Mastiff mix on our paws. She continues to grow and is catching up to the others quickly. They know it too. Good thing she's a kisser and just wants to be loved!

We love nicknames and this little sweetie quickly became our Sweetums. She wakes up kissing and goes to sleep the same way. Every day. It's just who she is and we are here for it! She sees Sebastian and Luna as her parents, and they love her all the same. A pack of Flappy Pappy's!

Our first rescue, Vera found us and claimed us. She is expressive, playful and as loyal as any dog or 'Flappy Pappy'. We've moved to many homes with her and she's always known that our love came with her. She is truly in charge of our pack, ruling with an iron paw, but with the same love and devotion as the others.

Such is life with a cat. You can spoil them rotten, give them the best anything, yet that milk cap is always going to be their favorite toy. Despite her feline tendencies, Vera still strives to share her love every day, too. From head bumps to small kisses, this girl may be tough as nails, but she'll still pull you in for a smooch!

Vera struggled a bit when Sebastian came in. He was older and already much larger than her, where Luna and Mistle came in as babies. Yet Vera was able to recognize his kind soul and eventually grew to show him the same compassion. Now, she sits back and watches them play like hooligans knowing she is just as loved and cherished, but now has her own body guards.
